As he prepares for a likely run for governor, Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino will be attending the Republican Governors Association’s meetings starting with a dinner tonight in Washington D.C.
Astorino will be meeting with potential donors and GOP leaders as he’s expected to officially say in the coming weeks whether he’ll run for governor.
It’s the second time Astorino has met with the group.
It was unclear whether he would get any time with Christie again.
Christie, who is embroiled in the George Washington Bridge lane closure scandal, was mocked today by Democrats for coming to Washington.
Astorino himself has been the target of Democratic attacks for his travels as he explores a run for governor.
