The state Gaming Commission today said that no electrical device was used by the winning jockey of “Will Take Charge” in the 2013 Travers Stakes in Saratoga.
On Aug. 30, Guillot, the trainer of the second place finisher “Moreno,” alleged that Saez used some kind of zapper to shock or jolt the horse to run faster. If true, such allegations would lead to harsh punishment from the state but also criminal charges, the Gaming Commission said.
But that was not the case.
Here’s the report and left is a photo provided by NYRA of Saez.
