If you live east of Syracuse and south of the Adirondacks, there’s a decent chance a Clinton may be coming to a town near you on Friday.
Bill and Hillary Clinton have separate speaking engagements in various parts of the state Friday, starting with the former Secretary of State/First Lady/U.S. Senator’s appearance at a luncheon with the Long Island Association.
More than 1,000 people are slated to event the Long Island business group’s forum in Woodbury, Nassau County, but it’s closed to the press, according to Newsday.
Later in the day, Hillary Clinton will head to Clinton, Oneida County, where she’ll speak at a 5,800-capacity auditorium at 6:30 p.m. as part of Hamilton College’s “Sacerdote Great Names Series.”
The former president, meanwhile, will be in Dutchess County. Bill Clinton will be the keynote speaker at a conference in Rhinebeck hosted by the Omega Center for Sustainable Living.
It wouldn’t be the first time the Clintons, who live in Chappaqua, Westchester County, have visited Rhinebeck. Their daughter Chelsea was married there in 2010.
