The Assembly vote in favor of Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s Women’s Equality act was largely along party lines, with two Republicans spurring their party to vote in favor.
The measure passed 98-47. The two GOP lawmakers who voted in favor were Clifford Crouch of Guilford, Chenango County, and Janet Duprey of Plattsburgh. Seven Democrats voted “no.”
