Here’s a resolution that passed the state Assembly today in honor of late New York City Mayor Ed Koch, whose funeral was held today.

“Rare indeed is the impressive conviction, dedication and commitment shown by an individual for the benefit of his community and fellow man, such as that which has been demonstrated by Edward I. Koch throughout his purposeful life and distinguished career; his colorful character, his bold spirit, and his sharp wit will be missed by many,” the resolution reads.
