A statewide group representing New York’s district attorneys is out with a wide-ranging set of gun law proposals, pledging support for everything from microstamping to stronger penalties to a crackdown on high-capacity magazines.
The state District Attorneys Association released its 10-point plan for New York lawmakers this afternoon as negotiations continue behind the scenes among the Legislature and Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
Among the major proposals:
- A mandatory prison sentence of at least five years for anyone who commits a violent crime or traffics drugs while possessing a firearm.
- Microstamping, which would require guns to be equipped for technology that stamps each bullet fired with identifying information.
- The closing of an exception in state law that allows high-capacity magazines manufactured before 1994.
- A requirement that pistol permits holders have to renew their certification every so often.j

As a Jewess in the US, I can only say that ANY anti-gun plan from an
ignoramus like Slow Joe Biden or his dirty Kenyan boss is bound to be a loser
idea. Certainly it will make all REAL Americans put our 2nd Amendment FIRST!
Both criminals and overbearing governments respect FIREPOWER, not sweet talk.
And remember that America wasn’t won with a registered gun!
