Gov. Andrew Cuomo is in Buffalo this morning at 10 a.m. to announce the plan moving forward for his “Billion to Buffalo” economic development initiative, Gannett’s WGRZ reports.
The governor, as well as the Lt. Gov. Robert Duffy, will participate in the WNY Regional Economic Development Council Assessment Tour.
The governor announced $1 billion investment in January. Sources told WGRZ that the council submitted its recommendations to the governor, and he is expected to announce which areas or industries will be the focus of the investment.
