Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Wednesday unveiled the makeup of three panels that will issue reports on storm response and preparedness, tapping more than 80 people from a variety a fields—from attorneys to military representatives to a NASA scientist and everyone in between.

Cuomo earlier this month said he would create three commissions: NYS 2100, which will deal with improving the state’s infrastructure to protect against storms; NYS Respond, tasked with coming up with ways to better respond to extreme weather; and NYS Ready, whose report will deal with preparing for storms.

Among the new names tapped for one of the commissions are Bill Wilson, CEO of the Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company of New York; Cynthia Rosenzweig, senior research scientist for the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies at Columbia University; and Bradford Berk, senior vice president for health sciences & CEO of the University of Rochester Medical Center.

All three commissions have a Jan. 3 deadline to issue their reports.
