Scott Noren, the Ithaca oral surgeon and perennial U.S. Senate candidate, is planning to run this ad on local television stations in a write-in effort for the November elections.
Noren, a liberal Democrat, has failed repeatedly to challenge Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand in a Democratic primary because he has been unable to get enough signatures to get on the ballot.
He’s been a harsh Gillibrand critic, and in this ad he knocks her for being a “fake progressive.”
Gillibrand is facing Republican Wendy Long on Election Day for a full six-year term.
