We wrote in May how the state’s “I Love New York” advertising campaign was suffering because of the state’s fiscal woes after years of trying to boost the brand to make it more statewide.
Now the campaign is getting a lift from a pro-bono, :30 ad that was cut recently starring New Yorkers Tina Fey, the Albany area’s Rachael Ray, Long Island native Alec Baldwin and Jets’ star QB Mark Sanchez.
The state’s Empire State Development Corp. will unveil the ad tomorrow. It was directed by Bob Giraldi, who has done some major music videos.
Here’s a video clip that Baldwin did. And above is a behind-the-scenes photo of Sanchez doing his scene.
