The new reform group Reinventing New York, along with other good-government groups, are hosting “Albany-On-The-Record” event today. It is being streamed live here.
It started at 11 a.m.
All state legislative leaders are attending and Gov. David Paterson and Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli.
One glaring omission: Attorney General Andrew Cuomo, the presumptive Democratic nominee for governor.
“As of now, there has been no response to our invitation to speak from Attorney General Cuomo,” the groups said in its news release this morning.
Paterson agreed yesterday to attend.
Cuomo has yet to say officially he is running for governor and has largely stayed clear of events that could tip his hand — except for his fundraisers, of course. He attended the Democratic Rural Conference briefly on Friday night, but left before he was nominated Saturday for governor by the group.
