Has anyone done any research as to how much the owners of the NY Mets and the NY Yankees will be contributing to the MTA Bailout? If just that group was taxed .34 per $100 of every baseball players multimillion dollar salary the small business owner would not have to pay this tax. Add the tax on salaries of large companies and, especially, the multi-million dollar salaries of NY based TV station personalities and the MTA would be financed for years to come! Why should the small business such as an Antique Shop in Tivoli, NY have to pay this tax when the MTA does not even service that part of Dutchess County?
Now I have to sit and listen to our new Governor give the commencement address at Marist College this year! It is sad that he lost his vision but I am afraid he has now lost his mind!
