While some Republicans are sweating out their re-elections, others appear to have it easy.

Sen. Michael Nozzolio, R-Fayette, Seneca County, has a 74 percent to 26 percent lead over Democrat Paloma Capanna with 26 percent of votes .

Sen. James Alesi, R-Perinton, Monroe County has a 63-37 percent lead over Democrat David Nachbar with 27 percent of votes in.

Sen. James Seward, R-Milford, Otsego County, has a 68 percent to 32 percent lead over Democratic candidate Don Barber with 50 percent of votes cast.

Sen. George Winner, R-Elmira, has a 62-38 percent lead over Elmira Mayor John Tonello with 44 percent of the votes cast.
