Walsh Winding Down

July
18

Rep. James Walsh, R-Syracuse, is slowly heading into retirement after this year, and he’s already scaling back his office hours at his Palmyra, Wayne County, office.

Starting July 28th, the will be open for weekly office hours on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and by appointment.

All mail and phone calls to the office will be forwarded to his main office in Syracuse, his office said.

“I am proud of the quality of constituent service we’ve provided to Wayne and Monroe County constituents over the years,” said Walsh. “But this change is necessitated by staffing realities. I am committed to making this transition as seamless as possible, and we’re eager to fulfill our responsibilities through the conclusion of the 110th Congress on January 2nd.”
