Assembly Republicans: Hey, Kid, Where You Going?

Despite wedding bells in Assembly Minority Leader Jim Tedisco’s future (left), Assembly Republicans are still focusing on policy, announcing today RemaiNY—regional forums that will look at the reasons for young people leaving the state.

Here’s two answers: no jobs, high taxes.

Tedisco appointed three young assemblymen, Rob Walker of Long Island, Marc Molinaro of the Hudson Valley and Jack Quinn of the Buffalo area to look at the issue.

They are holding their first event tomorrow in Elmira at from 4 to 6 p.m. at the academic and workforce development center at Corning Community College.

The group expects to similar events across the state.

    If anyone can help answer that question it’s our local Assemblyman Marc Molinaro. Assemblyman Molinaro could have moved away and worked where he could make more money but instead chose to stay in his local community. Dedicating his life to public service. Assemblyman Molinaro is on the rise and a role model for young people.
