bruno3.jpgSen. Joseph Bruno, no longer Senate majority leader, can still bring in the bucks for his Albany-area district.

This morning he announced $42 million in state aid to construct a biomedical facility at the University at Albany’s East Campus to house the Institute for Biomedical Education and Research. The institute will be a collaboration between the University at Albany and Albany Medical Center.

And Bruno also announced a $25 million deal for a neonatal intensive care unit at Albany Medical Center.
