GOLISANO MAY GIVE DEMS MILLIONS IN SENATE CONTESTS

July
1
Rochester billionaire Tom Golisano may be planning to spend millions to aid a Democratic attempt to take over the state Senate, according to a published report.
Golisano, who has run unsuccessfully for governor three times and owns the Buffalo Sabres, may give up to $1 million to each of several Democrats seeking to oust Republican incumbents, according to The Capitol, a magazine that covers state government.
Democrat Richard Dollinger of Rochester, who is challenging Republican Joseph Robach, as well as challengers for two Erie County seats now held by Republicans could be beneficiaries of Golisano’s largesse, according to the magazine. Republican Dale Volker, a 33-year incumbent, could be a target, and Golisano may also give money to a Democrat seeking to succeed Republican Mary Lou Rath, who is retiring at the end of the year.

How does that old saying go “don’t get mad get even”,and I guess he is planning to do a lot of getting even. I wonder if Roger Stone put him up to this. Since Roger was bounced from his Senate consulting job.
