Salmonella scare reaches NY

  New York can now claim two of the hundreds of tomato-related Salmonella Saintpaul infections in the country. There are two lab-confirmed cases, the state Health Department reported this evening, but they have not resulted in any hospitalizations or deaths. One case was a New York City resident on vacation in Pennsylvania., and the other was an Orange County resident.
  There have been 229 cases associated with the outbreak nationwide, including one death and 25 hospitalizations.
