Kuhl Joins Blogosphere

Rep. Randy Kuhl, R-Hammondsport, Steuben County, has retooled his election website as he gearkuhl.jpgs up for his tough re-election fight this November.

Kuhl’s new website has a blog and voter action center, though he hasn’t put any blog posts up yet.

The site also includes a place to sign up for email updates, volunteer to help the campaign and write letters to the editor.

Kuhl said he also on social networking sites like MySpace and Facebook.

Interestingly, Kuhl has become somewhat of an anomaly—he’s one the few House Republicans in New York seeking re-election to Congress this fall.

And his opponent, Democrat Eric Massa, has been doing online blogging since their 2006 campaign on several websites, including his own.
