Ticketmaster Changes Policy On Giants Game

January
3

Attorney General Andrew Cuomo said Ticketmaster did an about face today over ticket sales to the Giants-Buccaneers game Sunday in Tampa.

Cuomo said people complained that Ticketmaster was restricting ticket sales to just Florida residents. When contacted by Cuomo’s office, Ticketmaster dumped the policy, Cuomo said.

“Ticketmaster has agreed to immediately eliminate the Florida residency restrictions for purchasing tickets which will now be open to New York and New Jersey residents, as well as other states’ residents,” Cuomo said in a statement.
“Ticketmaster agreed to immediately change their website to allow such sales to take place.
We thank Ticketmaster for its cooperation.”
