An additional congestion-pricing flicker: some Assembly members said today they’re being canvassed to see if they are available to return to the Capitol tomorrow or Friday, ostensibly to vote on some kind of bill that New York City could send to the federal Department of Transportation to show they’re on board with the idea. And if you really want to stretch to find proof that something might happen, the continued silence of all parties means they’re still talking. Once they start taking public shots at one another, we’ll know the idea is dead for now.
